Hellyeah Is Set To Perform First Live Show Since Vinnie Paul’s Death With Stone Sour’s Drummer Roy Mayorga

Hellyeah has recruited a guest drummer. In a Facebook post earlier today, the band announced that Stone Sour’s Roy Mayorga will be serving as the drummer for an upcoming performance. According to the PRP, the band stated, “Please welcome our dear friend and brother Roy Mayorga, who will be guesting behind the drum kit as we honor our brother Vinnie Paul. These men had so much love and mutual respect for each other, this makes our transition so much easier. Ready or not, here we come!”

The show will take place this upcoming weekend, May 11, at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV and will mark the band’s first performance since the death of the late, great Vinnie Paul, who sadly passed away last year. His death was caused by an enlarged heart and a severe coronary artery disease. The upcoming performance will be in honor of Paul, including hits the band has made throughout the years.

Before his passing, Paul had finished recording his parts on the tracks for the band’s upcoming sixth studio album, set for June 28 release date. The new album follows their 2016 album Unden!able and can be pre-ordered here. Earlier this year, they released a single from the album called “333” along with its music video, which is coincidentally has a 3:33 run time. See the visual below.
