Singer-songwrited Norah Jones joined fellow performer and actress Sharon Van Etten on stage at Webster Hall in Manhattan on Saturday, May 4. The two artists sang “Seventeen,” from Van Etten’s album Remind Me Tomorrow, which debuted in January. Their performance was one of the first to occur at the newly reopened venue after it went through a $10 million renovation beginning in 2017 under new ownership of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG).

Sharon Van Etten is a pop and folk rock singer and has released five studio albums and two EPs since she began her career in 2007. Meanwhile, Norah Jones is a pop, folk and jazz singer who has released seven studio albums over the past 18 years and was named Billboard’s top jazz artist of the 2000s. Jones has also appeared on NBC’s 30 Rock and was featured as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Van Etten and Jones shared a rendition of “Seventeen” aided by Jones’ harmony and the potent feeling of nostalgia eminating from the song’s lyrics.

Van Etten is currently on tour and will visit Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, with short breaks on the East Coast in between. Norah Jones is presently on a tour of North America, with stops across the United States and upcoming visits to Montreal and Quebec.
