Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real Announces New Album Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) For 2019 Release

Rock band, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real have released the first single to their upcoming new album, a track titled “Bad Case.”  The song exemplifies the classic rock and roll and country rock influences in the band’s music; staples that their fans have come to know and love. Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real’s upcoming album is going to be titled Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) and will be released June 14. This will be the band’s second album since signing to Fantasy Records. In 2017, the group debuted on the label with their self titled album.

Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) is going to be an upbeat project for the group, with the band attempting to keep the music light and entertaining while also providing some thought provoking lyricism. Lukas Nelson, who is incredibly well connected in the music industry, has assembled a star studded group of artists to help his band with this endeavor. Some of the features already confirmed for the project include country legend, and Lukas’ father, Willie Nelson and pop icon Kesha. Other names attached to the album as of now are singers Margo Price and Sheryl Crow.

This summer Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real are also embarking on an incredibly long tour, opening for a variety of acts. In addition to a series of headlining shows, the band will be performing alongside the Zac Brown Band during their upcoming tour. When not touring with Zac Brown Band, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real is going to be doing a set of shows opening for music legend Neil Young both in the United States and around the globe. In total, the group is going to be touring from early May through the end of October. This means that fans of the band will have many opportunities to catch a performance of Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) live.
