Austin City Limits Music Festival Announces 2019 Lineup Including Mumford & Sons, Guns N’ Roses and Robyn

Earlier today the Austin City Limits Music festival finally released their lineup for 2019 and it’s nothing short of impressive. Music lovers of any genre will be pleased as the lineup features a diverse sound across the board. Alternative rock fans will be ecstatic to hear Mumford & Sons, classic rock lovers should enjoy the appearance of Guns n’ Roses, and hip hop and rap fans will be treated to performances by Childish Gambino and Cardi B. Other music greats playing the festival include The Cure, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, and Swedish singer songwriter Robyn.

The Austin City Limits festival is set to go on over the course of two weekends in October from the 4th to the 6th, and the 11th to the 13th. The festival will take place at the same place it always does at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. Zilker Park has been the home of the Austin City Limits festival for 18 years and since its beginnings back in 2006. From the start, the Austin City Limits festival has partnered with Austin Parks Foundation and throughout their relationship, they have generated over 35 million dollars put towards park improvements in and around Austin. Additionally, due to its long tradition of celebrating Texan talent, the ACL festival will be featuring a number of acts from their own home including Kacey Musgraves, Gary Clark Jr. and Asleep at the Wheel.

This year, the ACL festival’s lineup is nothing short of inclusive. Musicians from all over the world will be performing ranging from Spain, to Norway, England, Brazil, Colombia, and more. Swedish musician Robyn will one of the headliners for weekend two. The GRAMMY nominated singer songwriter released her newest album Honey back in 2018 which was met with critical acclaim. Robyn has announced a number of other venues she’ll be playing at in the near future including the Barclays Center, Pitchfork, and more. Childish Gambino will also be taking the ACL stage and his performance is highly anticipated. Last year, the rapper had to cancel his ACL performance due to injuries and was not able to attend.

Here’s the full lineup below for both weekend one and two:
