Lizzo @ Radio City Music Hall 9/22-9/24

Coming back hot off her Cuz I Love You Tour, pop/hip-hop/R&B royalty Lizzo will headline two shows at Radio City Music Hall – once on Sunday, September 22nd and again on Tuesday, September 24th. Doors to Radio City will open at 7:00pm, and the show begins at 8:00pm sharp. Since this event is in high demand, prices are ranging anywhere from $44.50 for the top mezzanine seats to $350 and up for spots closer to the stage.

Lizzo’s music has absolutely exploded in the past year – and rightfully so. She began rapping and performing as young as age 14 while living in Houston, Texas, although it would be over a decade later until her first solo album was released in 2013, titled Lizzobangers. The success of this and her sophomore release Big Grrrl Small World caught the attention of Atlantic Records, where she signed a major label deal in 2015. Her entire career has been a steady climb, with her latest record Cuz I Love You becoming her most successful release to date.

Lizzo is truly an expert at creating music that speaks to a diverse demographic of people. She is a powerful advocate for self-love, body positivity, and the exploration of self, all of which is extremely poignant in her music. Songs such as “Soulmate” and “Good as Hell” preach this extensively, and have in turn received stellar response from fans. Oh – and not to mention her music is just plain great. Lizzo’s vocals are absolutely spectacular and the instrumentation and production value is expertly crafted all around.

There isn’t a bad song on her repertoire – and surely she’ll sound even better live. Grab your tickets while you can!

Melissa Aiello: Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am a 24-year-old passionate lover of all things related to music and live entertainment. I've been singing since the second grade, and playing guitar for the past five years. I grew up in a fairly musical household, with my grandfather breaking out his accordion and starting sing-a-longs at every family gathering. It was here that I began falling in love with music and its power to change moods, emotions, and lives. My taste in music goes far and wide - you name it, I'll (probably) listen to it. My hundreds of Spotify playlists include everything from Biggie to ABBA to the Jonas Brothers (thank GOD they're back together) to Dolly Parton and everything in-between. I aim for my little corner of the internet to spread love and positivity for all this beautiful music, and give you the opportunity to see or hear artists you may otherwise have not heard of.
