Beak Announces New Untitled EP For June 2019 Release and Shares First Single “Life Goes On”

The electronic music trio featuring Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, Beak>, are preparing to release a new EP. Fans can expect new music, that is still yet to be named, to come out June 21 via INVADA Records. The EP follows the group’s full length album from 2018.

The first single off the EP was released as a little sneak peek for fans. The song, “Life Goes On,” was inspired by a recent trip to Mexico City for a festival, according to a statement. During the festival, the band experienced the sound of a young girl’s voice in a distorted manner. Inspired by the sound, the new track features the same girl’s voice, which can be described as the “lovechild of Santana and Sonic Youth.”

Beak> is currently scheduled for several upcoming European tour dates which includes performances at Primavera Sound in Spain and the End of the Road Festival in England.
