Modest Mouse, the incredible American rock band just released a new single, “I’m Still Here”. “I’m Still Here” is the second released single from their album, triangle 7’’s. The two singles are the first songs released by the band in four years. The song is a fun quick piece with a strong drum beat and a strong electric guitar. The minute and a half song has a quick paced beat that makes you want to jump around. It is more hard fast rock than their past pieces of dreamy slow indie vibes. The new single makes you want to clap along and scream the lyrics “I’m still here” with the band. It makes a statement showing how although the band has not made music in quite some time they are still making music magic. The first single was called “Poison the Well” which is another shorter song with strong guitar tones and fast-paced lyrics.

Modest Mouse just recently announced that they will be going on a Fall North America tour with The Black Keys and Shannon and The Clams. The ‘Let’s Rock’ tour will start on September 23rd in Denver, CO and end on November 24th in Vancouver. The three bands will travel across the US to cities like Chicago, San Francisco, and Columbus. Modest Mouse released their album, “Strangers to Ourselves” in 2015 and in 2014 released two albums, This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About and The Lonesome Crowded West. Modest Mouse is taking on the music scene by storm and have been exciting fans with what is to come.
