HEALTH and Ghostemane have released a new collaborative single titled “Judgement Night.” Over the past few months, the rock band HEALTH has been incredibly busy with the release of their newest album and preparing for their Spring tour. Now on top of that the group has created another new single, continuing their recent trend of collaborative singles over the past year. This new single is the newest in a line of singles released by HEALTH with other artists, with the most recent being the track “Hate You” featuring rapper JPEGMAFIA. Despite tackling so many different projects at once, HEALTH has managed to keep their heads above water and continue making incredible songs.
Ghostemane is a metal and punk influenced rapper, fitting in with the sound of HEALTH with ease. Their new track “Judgement Night” embodies an incredible range of sounds, combining beautiful background vocals with Ghostemane’s intense style of rap. At only 2 minutes in length, the song packs an incredible amount of power and energy into a short time frame. HEALTH manages to focus on so many aspects of their career at one time, while still making each song they release feel incredibly polished and perfected. A small visual was released on Youtube alongside the song, featuring an animation of a retro arcade shooting game. The video is a short bit of gameplay from a made up game featuring two players shooting at ghosts and other ghouls in a haunted house.
HEALTH’s most recent album, titled VOL. 4 :: SLAVES OF FEAR, was released in February of this year to critical praise. The album was heralded by many as their best so far, with some of the most powerful tracks including “FEEL NOTHING” and “GOD BOTHERER.” HEALTH is also going on tour in support of the album, a lengthy tour spanning until the end of July. The tour is taking the group across both the United States and the world, featuring shows in major cities such as Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Rio de Janeiro and Moscow. The Neighborhood will also be performing alongside HEALTH during the South American portion of the tour.
