Watch Thou Perform a Misfits Cover Set at Roadburn 2019’s Ladybird Skatepark

While everybody’s eyes were set on Coachella this weekend, the Dutch city of Tilberg held what is likely heavy-music’s most important festival, Roadburn 2019. Bands like Sleep, At The Gates, Myrkur, Marissa Nadler and more performed at the festival, which took place over four days from Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14.

One of the biggest bands to play the festival was New Orleans sludge metal experts Thou. They played their proper set on Sunday but the night before took to the Ladybird Skatepark for a set of Misfits covers. Check out the action below, the video appears to start with “Die, Die My Darling,” unfortunately beginning after the band played classics like “Where Eagles Dare” and “Horror Business.” You can see them play “Die, Die My Darling,” “Bullet” and the set conclusion of “Last Caress” with Emma Ruth Rundle, who also performed at the festival.
