AC/DC the legendary rock band has a list of songs that multiple generations know and love. In 2016, former frontman Brian Johnson was forced to quit AC/DC after after suffering hearing loss. According to a source close to the band, it looks like he plans to join them on tour again. Johnson was replaced by Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose on the band’s tour.

DJ Eddie Trunk said Johnson will rejoin the legendary band to tour the upcoming album. Trunk admitted, “I have sources that have told me that they are absolutely going to tour with Brian back again. That’s all unconfirmed from their camp, but I had it from some reliable sources.”

Last year, it was reported that AC/DC is working on a new album which features work from their late rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young on “every track.” A source close to the band revealed that Angus and Young lived together at one point and wrote hundreds of songs. The source said, “Angus has decided to select the best tracks from those recordings that Malcolm played on and is now back in the studio recording and mixing them with fellow band mates Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and yes, Brian Johnson on vocals.”

In the past few years, Johnson has joined Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers onstage, jammed with Mick Fleetwood in Hawaii and performed ‘Back in Black’ with Muse. Riding on resurgence in popularity, AC/DC has continued to tour for their loyal fan base.  However Rudd was removed from the band for the second time, the same year of Young’s death, after receiving extensive criminal charges including attempting to procure a murder and possession of methamphetamine.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
