Robyn Captures Experience At Ibiza In New Music Video For “Between The Line”

Swedish pop star, Robyn, has released a brand new music video for her song “Between The Line.” The track was featured on Robyn’s most recent album, 2018’s Honey. The album was one of the most well received of the year; praised by a variety of media outlets. Honey was Robyn’s 5th studio album, and her first one in 8 years. Despite a nearly decade long hiatus, the singer proved why she is one of the most well respected pop singers in the industry. With this most recent music video, Robyn gives fans a look into her daily life through a series of homemade clips.

The music video, which was recorded while the singer was staying in Ibiza, for the most part features Robyn and her friends simply hanging out and being themselves. Shots of Robyn at beaches and pools show the singer really being herself, as opposed to the how highly choreographed most music videos are. By filming the video on the road, Robyn was able to get videos of herself completely natural. The video also features Robyn at a concert she performed at in Ibiza. While the music video does not have an incredibly deep message behind it, the video is one of the most fun and exciting videos the singer has released. The music video for “Between The Lines” was made with Robyn’s fans in mind, those who want to know more about the singer herself. The song itself is very similar in some ways, as it is an incredibly energetic dance track.

This was not the first music video released supporting Honey; as Robyn put out a video for the album’s title track back in 2018. That video was also unique, as all the background dancers featured in the video were fans of Robyn’s who responded to an open casting call to be in the production. Aside from her music, Robyn continues to show herself as a performer with an incredible artistic vision. The music video for “Between The Lines” can be found below.
