OFF! Announce Kickstarter Campaign for Sci-Fi Punk Rockumentary Watermelon: The Movie and New Album for 2020 Release

Punk band OFF! have launched a new Kickstarter campaign to raise for their science fiction rockumentary Watermelon: The Movie. In a press release, the filmpicks up in Los Angeles five years after OFF! have disbanded. In an attempt to conquer his diabetes-induced erectile dysfunction, Keith Morris comes across a mind-altering medication extracted from mysterious watermelons.” Actors and artists who have been featured in previous OFF! music videos are also set to appear in the film including Jack Black, David Yow, Dave Foley, Brian Posehn, and Jack Grisham.

Fans and supporters will be given the opportunity to be apart of the last scene of the film and exclusive merchandise with a never before seen design from Raymond Pettibon. While being apart of the film, fans will get the chance to experience the album before the general public. Donations can be made here.

The film will give fans a teaser of what is to come, as the album itself, titled Watermelon, is set for an early 2020 release. They will also be hitting the road this summer with a handful of shows in the US. The shows will kick off June 1 at Camp Anarchy in Thornville, OH alongside Rancid, The Offspring, and NOFX and will proceed on to other festivals including Warped Tour, and Muddy Roots in Cooksville, TN.
