Regina Spektor @ Lunt-Fontanne Theatre 6/20-6/26

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Regina Spektor will take the stage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre for select nights from June 20th – June 26th as part of In Residence On Broadway’s latest series of superstar performances. Following the likes of Morrissey and Yanni, Spektor will put on five shows throughout the week, showcasing her expansive career highlights and plethora of intricately crafted hits. Tickets for these exclusive shows start at $65 for rear mezzanine spots and go up to $250 a pop for orchestra seats. The show starts promptly at 8:00pm, with doors to the theater opening 30 minutes earlier at 7:30pm. Be sure to bring your kids, too – this show is for all ages.

Regina Spektor has quite the career history, spanning nearly twenty years since her beginning in 2001. She began her career as the opening act for groups such as Keane, Kings of Leon, and The Strokes, eventually signing to Sire Records in 2004 for all of her future releases. She’s gone on to record and release seven full-length studio albums, three of which charted high on the Billboard 200. She has also participated in multiple collaborations, notably including a remix of Hamilton‘s “Dear Theodosia,” for the Hamilton Mixtape, which she performed with fellow singer/songwriter Ben Folds.

In this limited Broadway run, Spektor looks to include more “theatrical elements” into her show, aiming to provide a truly unique experience for fans. The unconventional Broadway setting provides endless possibilities for Spektor to explore her classic hits in a way no one has seen or heard before. Grab your seats while you can, and prepare yourself for a truly unforgettable evening.

Melissa Aiello: Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am a 24-year-old passionate lover of all things related to music and live entertainment. I've been singing since the second grade, and playing guitar for the past five years. I grew up in a fairly musical household, with my grandfather breaking out his accordion and starting sing-a-longs at every family gathering. It was here that I began falling in love with music and its power to change moods, emotions, and lives. My taste in music goes far and wide - you name it, I'll (probably) listen to it. My hundreds of Spotify playlists include everything from Biggie to ABBA to the Jonas Brothers (thank GOD they're back together) to Dolly Parton and everything in-between. I aim for my little corner of the internet to spread love and positivity for all this beautiful music, and give you the opportunity to see or hear artists you may otherwise have not heard of.
