Red Bull Music Festival New York City has announced its 2019 lineup this morning. It features an eclectic range of genre-defying artists, including FKA Twigs, Holly Herndon and Tierra Whack.
Holly Herndon recently announced a new album titled Proto. The album was created with the help of A.I. and the first single “Eternal” featured an eye popping video. She will be performing on May 16.
FKA Twigs broke out in a big way with her first LP, aptly and tersely titled LP1. She hasn’t released full-length since then though she’s collaborated with Anderson .Paak on a single called “‘Till It’s Over.” She’ll be playing May 11 and 12 at the Wade Thompson Drill Hall in the Park Avenue Armory.
Tierra Whack has been releasing single after single to great acclaim across the internet. The Philadelphia rapper will take her eccentric and captivating style to the stage on May 10. Another breakout star is Teyana Taylor, who recently released a video for “Issues/Hold On,” which she directed herself. She will perform on May 15. JPEGMAFIA will be performing on May 8 and Moor Mother on May 9.
Tickets go on sale today, March 20 at 10 AM EST. You can find tickets on the Red Bull NYC site.
