Trent Reznor to Induct The Cure and David Byrne to Induct Radiohead in 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently announced those who will be inducting performers into the hall in the upcoming 2019 class. When an artist inducts a performer or band into the Hall of Fame, they give a speech in support of the inductee at the official ceremony, which will be held at the end of March. Included in the list of speakers is Trent Reznor, who will induct The Cure, and David Byrne, who is inducting Radiohead. Another major inductee into the hall of fame is going to be rock band Def Leppard, who will be inducted by Brian May of Queen. Other speakers set to induct acts at the ceremony include Janelle Monae for Janet Jackson and Harry Styles for Stevie Nicks. These are just a few of the legendary acts being inducted into the Hall of Fame in the 2019 class.

Since the beginning of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1983, the hall has dedicated itself to acknowledging musicians and musical groups who have had a profound impact on the musical landscape; immortalizing a new batch each year within its ranks. While the Hall of Fame can never realistically represent every single performer whose music had an impact on the industry, most view induction into the hall as a badge of honor after a career dedicated to rock music. For those who want to watch the whole event, it will take place live in New York on March 29th, and an airing of the ceremony will be played on HBO on April 27th.
