Lykke Li Performs New Song “Neon” at Women Who Rock and Announces New EP Titled still sad, still sexy

Last night was iHeartRadio’s Women Who Rock concert, a gathering held in conjunction with International Women’s Day featuring performances by some of the industry’s best female artists, including St. Vincent, Meg Myers, Karen O, Lykke Li and more.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was when Lykke Li unveiled a new song called “Neon.” She also revealed that it would be a part of her upcoming EP still sad, still sexy, which is a follow up to her 2018 album so sad, so sexy. In a short interview at the show, she revealed it would be a collection of remixes “that you can actually dance to.”

In addition to revealing the new EP, she also performed a new song called “Neon.” It’s a bit of a ballad, with Lykke Li performing the song with the lone accompaniment of an electric guitar. It highlights her powerful singing abilities and continues on the pop-oriented trajectory she set with so sad, so sexy.

She also spoke about her all-female company Yola Mezcal. She talked about the company’s plans to host a music festival, which she later confirmed on Twitter. She stated the festival will be held in Los Angeles this summer and will be called Yola Festival.
