Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival has announced his inaugural Outlaw Music Festival, set to begin June 14. The festival will then travel to other cities for the month of June, including stops in Toronto, Milwaukee, Chicago, and St. Louis, before concluding in Dallas, TX July 3. Each city will feature different lineups, including performances from Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Dawes to name a few. According to Consequence of Sound, more artist will be announced at a later date. See the bill for each city below.
The 2019 edition serves as the third year for the festival, with last year’s lineup including Brandi Carlile, The Head and the Heart, Greensky Bluegrass, Sturgill Simpson, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. It’s previous year featured Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and My Morning Jacket. Tickets for the shows are set to go on sale Friday, March 8 and can be purchased here.
Nelson is set to headline the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, CA May 3-5 along with Brian Wilson, Violent Femmes, Ziggy Marley, Jason Mraz, and Slightly Stoopid to name few. Fellow festival performer Phil Lesh & Friends will be playing the annual Peach Tree Music Festival, along with Greensky Bluegrass, and The Infamous Stringdusters July 25-28 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
