Joy Williams Cancels Spring 2019 Tour Dates

Joy Williams has cancelled her remaining spring tour dates, per a statement she made on Instagram. She cited a familial matter, but did not get into specifics. Read Williams’ full statement below.

The tour would have been in support of Williams’ new album, Front Porch, slated for a May 3 release. The album was written during while she was pregnant with her second child, and  she told Rolling Stone “there is an energy that is very creative in having a baby. It gives a sense of urgency on top of all the creative energy.”
