Following the announcement of Warped Tour 25 which will be held at only three stops-Cleveland, OH, Atlantic City, NJ and Mountain View, CA on this June 8, June 29 & 30 and July 20 & 21, respectively, fans began coming up with their dream lineups for the 25th anniversary of largest traveling music festival. According to Billboard, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman promised, “the curated art experience will showcase our favorite moments over the last 25 years. So, dust off the old Vans and lace em’ up since you won’t want to miss a thing!”
With that in mind, reported by THEPRP NEWS, the last Warped Tour still created fantasy line-up for the festival that brings back some of the artists that made Warped Tour a household name, some inaugural Warped Tour artists and current artists across many genres featuring Glassjaw, Quicksand and Andrew W.K. The Post-Hardcore titans Glassjaw and Quicksand teamed up for their tour last year, and Andrew W.K was also announced to feature 2019 SXSW festival and Pouzza festival.
The first Vans Warped Tour took place in 1995, since then it has been the best musical paradise for metal, punk, ska and even skateboard lovers to live their present and enjoy their moment. By the late 1990s and early 2000s, Warped Tour’s stages cemented its championed status of pop rock and post-hardcore by acting as the promoting force behind numbers of unknown artists who were brought to spotlights, artists like Black Veil Brides, Avenged Sevenfold, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, MGK, Katy Perry and many more. For many die-hard Warped fans, it was a heartbreaking moment for them to accept the fact that the final Vans Warped tour finished its last song in Florida last year. Without a doubt, it is such a great pity for everyone that The People’s Music Festival will shut down henceforth.
