Iggor Cavalera Forms Noise-Rock Duo Petbrick and Releases Self-Titled EP

Iggor Cavalera of Sepultura has joined forces with Wayne Adams of Death Pedals and Big Lad to form the noise-rock duo Petbricks. They have also released self-titled EP, according to Stereogum.

Cavalera was just 13 in 1981 when Sepultura formed, but his age was not the focus. Rather, his extreme skills on drums stole the show. Cavalera stayed with the band until 2006.

Recently, Cavalera has been recording music with his brother, former Sepultura member Max, under the name the Cavalera Conspiracy. He has also played with bands like nailbomb and Strife, and even played drums on M.I.A’s “Born Free.”
