Chromatics Shares New Video for “Time Rider” and Announces Spring 2019 Tour Dates

Chromatics have just released their latest single titled “Time Rider”. The indie and electro band’s latest song release is tied to a psychedelic journey of a music video, which was directed by the band themselves. With a catchy bassline and haunting vocals throughout, the song explores themes of love, pain, and time, with lyrics like, “There’s no shame in pain, there’s only time.” Check out Chromatics’ latest release.

The Portland band’s latest release comes with great news for fans. Chromatics have also announced their first tour in over five years that will see them hit various locations in North America over six weeks. Labelled “Double Exposure”, the tour will begin on April 30 at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, and end on June 11, at Mezzanine in San Francisco, California. The full list of dates and locations can be found below. Tickets go on sale February 22 and can be purchased here.

Chromatics consists of Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Nat Walker, and Johnny Jewel. Interestingly, their “Double Exposure” tour will be the first time vocalist Radelet will be performing live together with the band in many of the scheduled cities. The band’s psychedelic and synth-y italo disco vibe is distinguishable not just in “Time Rider”, but also in past releases like “Blue Girl” and “Black Walls” from their Dear Tommy album. For Double Exposure, Chromatics will be directly supported by Desire from the same label Italians Do It Better, with Tess Roby and Holy Ghost! making appearances on selected dates.
