According to the stuff, Julien Baker has canceled her tour. The news was announced by Twitter, but the reasons why didn’t be revealed in the statement.
The nearest venue to this rising folk star was Auckland, where the comedian was due to perform on February 15th and Wellington on 16th, 2019.
In the official statement posted on Julien’s management twitter, Distance Management said: “Due to unforeseen personal matters that have arisen Julien Baker will be canceling the remainder of her February tour in Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.”
“We extend our deepest apologies to those who have helped to arrange these shows or planned to attend and thank you for your understanding.” Ticket’s holders can get the refund of the tour cancellation.
Her group, Boygenius is a trio formed by Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker in 2018 after booking a tour together, who have been in the works for long way ago. Pitchfork entitled the group as “the real deal” of new supergroup after their “Me & My Dog” EP. Invited by NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, Julien and her team gained more recognition about their music performing and songwriting talents. The group is new, but their music crafts are ever-evolving.
