Evanescence have announced a new batch of spring tour dates, embarking on their North American tour in early May. The band will also hit the festival circuit this summer, with performances at Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, FL, Epicenter in Concord, NC, Impact in Bangor, ME, and Rock Fest in Cadott, WI.
This tour serves as a followup to the widely successful 2017 and 2018 “Synthesis Live” tours, which earned the band both rave reviews from fans as well as critical acclaim. This upcoming run marks the band’s return to their signature rock show roots, much to the delight of their fans.
After touring European festivals and shows in 2016 and early 2017, Evanescence unveiled their fourth album and most ambitious effort to date, Synthesis. Released fall 2017 via BMG, the group worked in the studio with producer, Will Hunt, and orchestra arranger and composer, David Campbell. Synthesis features two new Evanescence songs in addition to fan favorites re-imagined with a live orchestra and electronica. The record debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 and was also the #4 Debut Top Album, #1 Debut Independent Album, #1 Current Rock Album, and #1 Debut Rock Album, not to mention receiving critical acclaim from media staples including Rolling Stone, Paste, Nylon, Loudwire, Kerrang!, and more.
All tickets go on sale February 8 at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased on the band’s official website. Limited VIP packages will also be available, which include meet and greets with the band, access to watch sound check, and exclusive merch items.
