Reignwolf Announces New Album Hear Me Out For 2019 Release Date

Reignwolf’s new single “Black and Red” will be available on their new album, Hear Me Out which is set to release on March 1, 2019. The band was formed by Jordan Cook when he moved to Seattle in 2012. Cook’s first official show was at The Sunset Tavern in Ballard, Washington, featuring Joseph Braley and David “Stitch” Rapaport. Cook performs as both a one-man band accompanying his guitar with a kick drum, and with Rapaport and Braley.

The song begins with Cook’s sultry voice backed with strong guitars. The lyrics, “I let you in, you broke the skin. Lay it down, settle down.” The song winds down and the drums and guitar become light while Cook’s voice spirals down, down, down then pummels straight back up while the drums and guitar shift into position. There is a guitar solo as he howls lightly in the background letting the band take over for awhile.

Reignwolf was declared one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone in January 2014. The band started working on the record, Hear Me Out when they were touring with Black Sabbath in 2014. Reignwolf played Riot Fest in September 2018 in Chicago, Illinois along with dozens of bands.

In an interview, Cook says, “Playing arenas without an album was upside down and backwards and I kinda liked that,” he says. “After touring for a few months at the end of last year, and trying out a couple of the new songs, we noticed the hunger was there more than ever for new Wolf music.”

Back in 2016, Reignwolf released, “Hard Core” described as a combination of Queens of the Stone Age and Yeezus. The song was produced by GRAMMY Award winner Mike Dean who also worked with Jay-Z and Kanye West.  Of working with Reignwolf, Dean stated “He’s a rare gem in today’s world. He’s a great player and visionary. I hope the world enjoys this record as much as I did making it.”

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
