KAABOO Festival, which originated in Southern California and has continually expanded as it experiences more success every year, has announced yet another expansion. In conjunction with Jerry Jones, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Cowboys, KAABOO has announced a new festival to be called KAABOO Texas. In addition to the announcement, the festival has shared its inaugural lineup, which will include artists like Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Avett Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Killers, Garbage and The Black Eyed Peas. The three headliners are Sting, Kid Rock and The Killers. KAABOO Texas will be held in May of 2019 at the home of the Cowboys, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
KAABOO is entering its fourth year of existence, with successful festivals being held in Del Mar, CA just outside of San Diego. Previous headliners at that festival include Alice in Chains, Billy Idol, Blondie and more.
This is the second expansion of KAABOO . Last year, the festival announced they’d be growing with a second festival in the Caymans. That festival will be held February 15-16, 2019 at Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.
