Die Klute Featuring Dino Cazares, Die Krupps’ Jürgen Engler and Leæther Strip’s Claus Larsen Announce Debut Album Planet Fear for February 2019 Release

Supergroup Die Klute has announced their debut album, Planet Fear, will be releasing in February of this year. The heavy-handed industrial rock group is composed of three musicians from different bands. The members are Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, Jürgen Engler from Die Krupps and Claus Larsen of Leæther Strip. All three of these musicians have made names for themselves in the music industry and are now joining forces to bring fans an entirely new experience. The goal of the group is to combine the artistic visions of all three men into something different from what they each work on independently. The group has been in the studio for a while now working on their debut album and have finally announced to fans when they are going to be releasing it. The first single for the album, “It’s All in Vain,” was released back in November of 2018 and came with a music video as well.

“It’s All in Vain” brought fans exactly what they would expect from a group of musicians of this caliber. It is a fast paced and energizing industrial rock song that does a great job setting the stage for the sound of the rest of the album. The video that was released alongside the song is also well made, featuring scenes from the upcoming horror film Devil’s Revenge starring William Shatner. The music video switches back and forth from scenes of the musicians to scenes of the movie, using both to maintain the energy of the video and the song. The Planet Fear album will feature 10 original tracks, including “It’s All in Vain,” along with 2 covers of older songs. These songs are U2’s “MOFO” and Public Enemy’s “She Watches Planet Zero?!.”

Each member of the group has had an impact on the industrial rock scene, with some music from bands such as Fear Factory and Leæther Strip being over 20 years old at this point. Some of the more notable songs in Fear Factory’s discography include the tracks “Cars” and “Replica.” The age of these men, however, has not slowed down them or their artistic vision and they are set to release a fantastic new album as a group. If anything, the experience and longevity of these acts prove the talent of the members of Die Klute and makes a great album from the group even more likely.
