According to Katie Tur of NBC, Ryan Adams has a big year in the works. After dropping a leading tweet that simply stated “Breaking News…” along with a photo of Adams in the studio, she revealed that he has three albums for 2019 one minute later.
Just before Tur tweeted about the new albums, Adams himself posted a teaser Tweet that indicated he was up to something big this year. Tur of course is a well-known and well-respected journalist for NBC and host of MSNBC’s daily news-talk program MSNBC Live.
The first of the three albums will be called Big Colors. The Tweets have shown its album cover but other than that, there’s scant information available about thew new album.
Before the big reveal, he tweeted a few teasers about the new album Big Colors. One post included a video of Adams in the studio.
The reference he makes to the year he releaed three records? That was 2005, when he released in quick succession a trio of records over a seven-month period. The first was Cold Roses in May 2005, the second was Jacksonville City Nights in September 2005 and the final was called 29 and was released in December 2005.
