Senses Fail Tries To Win Demi Lovato’s Love in “Elevator To The Gallows” Video

Buddy Nielsen of Senses Fail, rocking out.

Senses Fail admit to their admiration for Demi Lovato and created a video to show it. In their new video, “Elevator To The Gallows” band members take turns expressing how they will win Demi’s love. “Elevator To The Gallows” is the band’s recent single from their 2018 album, If There Is Light, It Will Find You.

The band includes Buddy Nielsen (Vocals), Gavin Caswell (Guitar), Greg Styliades (Bass), Steve Carey (Drums) and Jason Milbank (Guitar). In a recent press release, the band shares “We are all big fans of Demi. We’ve tried to @ her on Twitter but to no avail! So we took the logical next step and made a video devoted to winning her attention. Having personally struggled with addiction I know all too well what Demi has been through. We want her to know Senses Fail loves her and wishes her the very best! Your best friends who you don’t know yet, Senses Fail.”

Lovato overdosed and spent time in rehab before starting her life in sobriety. The band, Senses Fail truly support her success and dedicate this special song to her directly. Their recent album, If There Is Light, It Will Find You has won praise Billboard, NYLON, Alternative Press, Loudwire and Substream Magazine. The album is available now on Spotify and Apple Music. Physical albums and merch bundles are available at sensesfail.com.

Nielsen shared the following about the album, “Over the years, I have lost a number of friends to drug addiction. This song addresses those losses and how I have tried to intervene in people’s addictions over the years. As someone who has battled addiction, I know that the change has to come from within. While support and resources are very important, it is ultimately a decision that is on the person who is battling. So many of us in this country have a friend or loved one who has lost their battle, and I thought it was important to highlight that struggle.”

Senses Fail kicks off their co-headlining tour with The Amity Affliction. “The Misery Will Find You Tour” will travel across the United States and Canada  before wrapping up on February 9th back in Los Angeles, CA. Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
