Canadian DJ and creative genius  Kid Koala has announced a new set of tour dates beginning in winter of 2019. Each stop of the tour will be unique and creative experiences. The tour will kick off in his hometown Montreal with two days of Music to Draw sessions.  Both days will have two sessions and will each include two hours of quiet music time, previewing Koala’s new album of the same name, Music To Draw To: IO. He will be joined by very special guest Trixie Whitley, a talented multi-instrumentalist hailing from Belgium.  The two recently collaborated on a new song with its accompanying video titled “All For You.”The tour will also include special stage adaptations of his graphic novel Nufonia Must Fall. The performance is described as a mix of live Puppet Theater and video projection with an ensemble of strings, piano, and electronic instruments.

Nufonia Must Fall is a 300 page graphic novel about a lonely robot on the verge of obsolescence and looking for love. The novel was released 15 years ago. The live performance is directed by Oscar nominee K.K. Barrett and is built around a cast of 10-inch puppets. Another unique show apart of the tour is a Satellite Turntable Orchestra. This unique experience will take place in St. Catherines, Canada, College Park, MD and Chapel Hill, NC. A turntable orchestra is where every audience member gets their own vinyl and record player to sing along with music played by DJ Kid Koala. Tickets for all tour stops are available now.
