Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive have announced a co-headlining world tour, formally titled “Collapse The World Tour.” The tour is set to begin in the spring, kicking off April 18th in the bay area, San Francisco, CA. It will continue its trek across different cities in the U.S. including Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, and New York before ending with festival sets at the Sonic Temple music festival in Columbus, Ohio alongside System of A Down, The Prodigy, and Ghost. Rock band After the Burial will serve as the openers for the joint tour. Tickets will go on sale Friday, December 21st at 10 am local time. See the full list of tour dates below.
In a press release, Parkway Drive’s leading man Winston McCall stated that the tour is a landmark for the band, continuing to say “Having smashed our way across the land for over a decade now, it is a humbling and defining moment to be sharing this slot with true heavy metal icons and personal heroes.” Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach also made a statement about their tourmates, stating “Parkway Drive puts on an incredible live show and we are excited to combine forces and bring the energy every night to a town near you. I am absolutely certain fans of both bands are in for a hell of a time. This will be one for the memories for sure — let’s rage!” The band recently signed to Metal Blade Records, with a new album planned for 2019 release.
