Winter is not going anymore anytime soon, but that won’t stop festivals from releasing the lineups for the new year – some making their first debut. The inaugural Smoke Run Music Festival will be coming to the Clear Fork Adventure Resort in Butler Ohio on June 28 to June 30, 2019.

According to Cincy Music, the festival will be headlined by the bands Gov’t Mule, Trampled by Turtle and Railroad Earth. Alongside the headliners, Deer Tick, Sierra Hull, The Way Down Wanderers, The Wooks, Chicago Farmer, Michigan Rattlers and Grassinine are just some of the bands performing as well. The artists in the lineup are to cover a variety of genres from rock and newgrass to alternative-country and bluegrass.

Earlier this year, the Minnesota bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles released their long-awaited ninth full-length album Life is Good on the Open Road after four years and an unexpected hiatus from the band. The 12-track album features tracks with a lot of influences, including rock, punk and country.

By the time the festival comes around, Deer Tick will have a collection of new, unreleased material and covers they can perform off their anticipated album Mayonnaise, set for a February 1st release. So far, the folk rock band has released a few tracks from the album, including covers of George Harrison’s “Run of the Mill” and The Pogues’ “White City,” along with an original song titled “Strange, Awful Feeling” that is the opposite of a strange or awful sound.

And if you haven’t heard of Butler, Ohio, that’s not a problem. The festival is located just an hour away from Columbus and 90 minutes away from Cleveland. The festival has a variety of camping options for attendees, including a RV section with electric water and hook ups provided, along with VIP camping options. One of them being the premium offer “Glamping” which comes with a complete set of tents, cots, camping chairs, lanterns, drink tickets, t-shirts and access to the Smoke Run lodge.

Tickets have already went on sale, as of today, and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
