Famous rock star Peter Murphy, 61, was thrown out of his own show in Stockholm, Sweden for throwing bottles into the crowd. He was thrown out by concert organizers at Nalen on Wednesday night. The glass hit one of the concert goers in the face and after being thrown out he ended up fighting with the guards.

Someone in a Facebook group posted a photo of Murphy being held on the ground by what appears to security. The reason Murphy was upset was over technical issues, as well as people taking loudly during the show. This is not Murphy’s first incident in responding with anger at a show. Back in 2016, Murphy got into a fight with security staff in Boston when a bouncer was eating a burger near the stage during his show. The Stockholm show was part of Murphy’s tour with David J celebrating Bauhaus’ 40th anniversary.

While neither Murphy or David J have made a statement, the concert promoter released the following, “With one more song planned, the artist’s tour manager and technician decided to end yesterday’s concert with Peter Murphy since technical equipment had been destroyed, due to incidents we at Nalen take very seriously. The artist acted in an unacceptable way towards the audience and our staff. We are currently trying to sort the situation out. If anyone in the audience got injured in any way, we would like you to contact us and report to the police. We also want to say thanks to the guests who helped us at Nalen and others in the audience.”
