Hatebreed Announces Spring 2019 25th Anniversary Tour Dates

25 years as a band is a pretty incredible achievement for any band, let alone a group like Hatebreed that specializes in brutally pummeling metallic hardcore. To show they’ve no signs of slowing down, the band has announced a tour to celebrate their 25th year as a band.

The tour will include a heavyweight roster of supporting acts, including death metal icons Obituary, NYC hardcore pioneers Cro-Mags, Hatebreed disciples Terror and deathcore band Fit For An Autopsy. Also joining Hatebreed on the road for select dates are metalcore band Bleeding Through, modern crossover band Municipal Waste, Strife, Obituary and Asesino. The tour begins in March before taking a nearly month-long break, restarting up in Philadelphia and running throughout the first half of April. THe tour finishes up with a show on 4/20 at New Haven, CT’s College Street Music Hall.

While Hatebreed is going strong, lead singer Jamey Jasta has been sowing his wild oats as a solo act. It’s been years since he released a solo album, but much of 2018 was spent on the road on his Jasta and Friends tour. Dino Cazares joined him on that tour, with the two performing Fear Factory’s song “Replica” back in August. Jasta also worked with hair metal legend Dee Snider of Twisted Sister on his new heavy-metal album.

Hatebreed has also been touring in 2018. They played alongside shock-rockers GWAR on the Gore, Core and More tour. The two bands headlined series of shows during October. Hatebreed’s last album Concrete Confessional was released in 2016.

UPDATE (2/13): Hatebreed has extended its 2019 25th anniversary tour. The second leg of the tour is divided into two parts. The first will feature opening acts Obituary, Madball, Prong and Skeletal Remains while the second will feature Obituary, Agnostic Front, Prong and Skeletal Remains. The first half of leg two runs from May 7 until May 15 along the East Coast and Midwest, while the second half runs from May 17 to May 26 on the West Coast and Southwest.
