Supposed Drake Fans Storm the Stage at Pusha-T’s Toronto Concert

A Pusha-T concert in Toronto last night saw a violent ending, seeing many concertgoers throwing a mixture of beer, water, and paint at the rapper and storming the stage, leading to an all-out brawl that ended up shutting the entire event down. Fights seemed to continue outside of the venue, reportedly leading to one man being stabbed with some news outlets saying that he is in critical condition.

According to several concertgoers, the disturbance began around 10 PM when Pusha “was singing a song and right on the bar where it says something along those lines about getting wet/soaked… about 10 [men] threw water at him.” Though nothing has been confirmed, it seems that Pusha believes that the attack was coordinated, blaming Drake for the disturbance.

Though Pusha was ushered away at the initial disorder, he took the stage again to squeeze in a bit of “Infrared,” a diss track against the Toronto rapper, before accusing him of paying people to come to the concert and throw beer. The police shut down the concert shortly thereafter, but the subsequent fights led to an as-of-yet undetermined number of injuries.

Pusha-T and Drake have had a long beef, where the two rappers have traded various jabs on social media and in diss tracks throughout the past year or so. One particularly vicious example is Pusha’s “The Story of Adidon,” a track which mocked Drake’s newfound anger, habit of walking away from relationships, and his mother. One set of lyrics made headlines, which exposed the fact that Drake had fathered a child with former adult-film star Sophie Brussaux. Drake went on to confirm those rumors on his record Scorpion.
