MF Doom Shares New Animated Video For “One Beer” 14 Years After It’s Release

Rapper/producer MF Doom has shared an animated music video for his song “One Beer,” off of his critically acclaimed album Mm… Food. The new video is in celebration of the album’s 14th anniversary, directed by Anhia Zaira Santana, also known as Distortedd. The psychedelic visual shows Doom in a cartoon form, making his way through a three-eyed cat, an orange-colored monster, and an interesting cooking session with a young woman. The video overall will have viewers thinking if they have taken one too many shrooms. See the trippy video below.

According to Consequence of Sound, MF Doom will be selling 500 limited edition “One Beer” t-shirts featuring artwork from the director of the video, Distortedd, who previously collaborated with Nike and Mountain Dew.

Mm.. Food was released in 2004. It features 15 tracks and most of the songs being self-produced by Doom himself.  It also features collaborations with  Madlib, Count Bass D, Mr. Fantastik, staHHR and 4ize.

Since the album’s release, MF Doom has linked up with some multiple artists including Czarface for their joint album Czarface Meets Metal Face, and Bishop Nehru, providing the rapper jazz-influenced beats for the single “Rooftops,” featured on Nehru’s album Elevators.
