Thrash metal legends Megadeth have just unveiled details for the inaugural Megacruise, a heavy metal cruise hosted by the band themselves. Tickets for the event have just gone on sale today, so any fans of thrash metal should get their hands on it quick.

The cruise will be a five-day/five-night ordeal, departing via Los Angeles on October 13th of 2019 and returning on the 18th. It will be hitting Ensenada, Mexico and San Diego, California during the Megacruise. Apparently, cabins will start at around $1,349 per person (double occupancy), with various other government fees, taxes and gratuities being mandatory for all passengers.

But the price may be worth it for any metal fan. In addition to Megadeth, the cruise’s lineup is quite incredible. Joining Megadeth is another of the Big Four of Thrash, Anthrax. Other bands include Testament, Dragonforce, Overkill, Corrosion of Conformity, Devildriver, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Doro, Armored Saint, John 5, Metal Church, Danko Jones, Beastö Blancö and Metalachi. More performers will be announced in the coming months.

According to the band, Megacruise will host a variety of events and activities that will have attendees up close and personal with various metal icons. Some opportunities include Artist Photo Experiences, Intimate Morning Coffee Jams, Music Clinics, and Fan/Artist Sporting Competitions.
