Thursday to Conclude Reunion with Winter 2019 20th Anniversary Tour Dates Playing Full Collapse and War All The Time In Full

American post-hardcore band has announced a new slew of tour dates for 2019, continuing to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary of their album’s Full Collapse and War All Time. The tour will see the band play both albums in full, making each stop a two-night stint with one album being played in full each night. It will kick off at the top of next year with two back-to-back nights in San Francisco, CA. The tour continues to make its trek down the west coast including dates Seattle, Denver, and Phoenix before concluding in Anaheim, CA January 31st performing War All The Time in full.

The band will then head to the east coast starting February 15th with two nights in Washington D.C. followed by shows in Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Cleveland, and Boston before concluding March 17th in Brooklyn, NY.  Fellow rock band Vein will open for the west side and American Pleasure Club opening for the east side. See the full list of tour dates below.

According to the PRP, this will mark the end of the Thursday reunion. The band made a statement shortly after announcing the new dates stating. “It’s our honor to announce that we’ll be ending our 20th Anniversary by taking Full Collapse and War All the Time on the road, for a very limited US tour, in early 2019. When we reunited the band, two years ago, we had no idea that it would carry us through our 20th year or that we’d be selling out every show that we play in 2018.”

They continue saying “This time, we get to put down touring on the very highest of notes: in each other’s lives and able to pick up and play together behind closed doors whenever we want. If we are ever able to do Thursday again, it will be a new, separate chapter. Thank you all for your time, attention and friendship.”

Both albums solidified the band as a household name. Their sophomore album Full Collapse received a great amount of attention, landing on the Billboard charts, becoming one of the first post-hardcore albums to go mainstream.  It also led to the band’s first major label deal with Island/Def Jam Records. Shortly after, the band released their third effort and major label debut War All The Time. The album was received well by critics and fans alike, landing at number seven on the Billboard 200.
