Sister festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park announce their lineups, featuring Tool, Foals and Alice in Chains. Dropkick Murphys, Slipknot, The 1975 and others will also be performing.
Other acts include Bastille, Die Antwoord, Halestorm and Architects. The full lineup can be seen below:
Rock am Ring will be held in Mendig, Germany from June 7-9, while Rock im Park will be held Nuremberg, Germany on the same dates. Check out the full lineup here.
The festivals began in 1985 as an inauguration of the new Nürburgring race track, but due to its success became an annual occurrence. The original lineup included U2, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, and others.
Over 60,000 tickets have already been sold, and tickets can still be purchased here for either or both festivals. Camping tickets and parking/shuttle tickets are sold separately.
