Rock Werchter 2019, Belgium’s greatest summer music festival takes place June 27-30, 2019. The lineup is fierce with headliners, Florence + the Machine, PINK, The Cure, Mumford & Sons and Muse. Other bands which have been recently added include Bring Me The Horizon, Years & Years, Miles Kane, Vance Joy and The Blaze.

Get ready for a jam packed performance with bands who will blow your mind. While you’re there, you can also sip your favorite Belgian beer and eat the finest Belgian foods and chocolate.

The show is four days with four stages and takes place at Festivalpark in Werchter. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 26 at 9:00am.  Rock Werchter is an international hit and a regular fixture in every music lover’s diary.

The lineup from July 2018 was insane as dozens of the finest bands performed over a few days time. This past July included bands like Queens of the Stone Age, The Eels, Artic Monkeys, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Pearl Jam, Jack White, Khalid and so many more.

Florence and the Machine just released a new album, High as Hope in June 2018. Since their breakthrough debut record Lungs in 2009, the group has become a powerhouse. Her voice is strong and riveting, which only adds to their success and buildup of their solid fanbase worldwide.

Mumford & Sons announced their upcoming 60 date world arena tour, including a stop at the Wells Fargo Center this December 12th. The tour comes along with “Guiding Light” a single released in September and release date of their new album Delta, November 16th.

Muse is set to release their eighth studio album, Simulation Theory  on November 9th through Warner Bros. Records. Simulation Theory is the follow-up to Drones which was released in 2015.

The Cure is included in the top 15 nominees for the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While there can only be five bands eventually inducted into the 2019 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when inductees are announced this December, the 15 nominees for this year’s class are one step of the way into inclusion in this hallowed hall.

Nominees for 2019 include Def Leppard, Devo, Janet Jackson, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Roxy Music, the Cure, Todd Rundgren, Rufus & Chaka Khan, the Zombies and perhaps the early frontrunner for induction, Stevie Nicks (who is already inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac). While the induction announcement will take place in December of 2018, the actual ceremony will be months later on March 29, 2019.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
