After wrapping up his previous world tour with labelmate Father John Misty, power pop garage rock artist King Tuff has announced that he will be embarking on new tour dubbed “Infinite Smiles” starting in January of 2019. The tour prior was more in support of his excellent 2018 album titled The Other, but this coming tour will be more freeform and fun, according to King Tuff himself.
The tour will be making stops at a wide variety of cities around North America, starting January 9th in Tucson, before making stops in Athens, Charlotte, NYC, Brattleboro, Chicago, St. Paul, Vancouver, Seattle, LA, and wrapping up with a double header in San Diego February 22nd and 23rd.
“The Infinite Smiles tour is going down smack dab in the middle of winter depression,” says Tuff himself. “We will be traversing the snowy landscape wearing our finest shades of sunshine to try and bring a little light to the gloom! Our last tour focused mainly on the new album, but for this one we’ll be busting out some older jams and hopefully trying out some all new things. And yes, there will be Space Horn.”
Supporting the band as openers will be latin rockers Tropa Magica, garage rock outfit PAINT, and the psych band Stonefield.
