Metal band Soulfly has announced a new North American tour in support of their upcoming album, Ritual, set to be released October 19th. Incite will be providing support from the beginning of the trek with fellow band Kataklysm, Chaoseum, Alukah, and Skinflint joining in February. The complete list of confirmed dates can be found below. The tour will kick off January 25th in Alberqueque, New Mexico and will hit other major North American cities including Orlando, Boston, Kansas City, and Seattle before concluding in the city of angels, Los Angeles, CA February 26th.
According to The PRP, frontman Max Cavalera commented on the upcoming tour, stating: “Fuck yeah! We’re finally getting ready to tour America and Canada! We have the almighty Kataklysm and thrash masters Incite with us to pulverize city after city, night after night! We are gonna destroy everything that comes in our path! Soulfly recently shared their new song, “Dead Behind The Eyes” featuring Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, set to be featured on the upcoming album. Cavalera said that he “drew inspiration for the vocals from his days with Sepultura and the lyrics were inspired by the Cenobites, from Clive Barker’s Hellraiser franchise.” Ritual will consist of ten tracks and will also feature Ross Dolan.
