Imagine Dragons Announces New Album Origins For November 2018 Release

Imagine Dragons have announced their fourth studio album, Origins, set for release on November 9.  Origins was created as sister album to previous record Evolve,  and is arriving just 16 months after that album’s release. According to lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, it serves as discovery into “seeking new ground but also appreciating your roots.”  “When we create, we create with no boundaries, no rules. We find it thrilling to make music that feels different and new to us,” Reynolds said.

Two singles from the album have been revealed thus far: “Natural,” released in July and confirmed to be the anthem for the 2018 ESPN College Football season and “Zero,”  a September release that will be featured in the end credits of the upcoming movie Wreck-It Ralph: Ralph Breaks The Internet. The two songs will be included as instant downloads on all pre-orders of Origins.

Imagine Dragons’ third studio album Evolve  resulted in three chart-topping singles, and a “Believer“, “Whatever It Takes” and”Thunder“,which received a Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Grammy nomination . The band embarked on a 33-country tour for the album that lasted from September 2017 through September 2018.
