Kim Kardashian Announces Kanye West’s Yandhi Pushed Back to November 2018 Release

Kanye West has pushed back the date of his forthcoming album Yandhi to a November. According to an article from Pitchfork, the announcement came Monday after his wife, Kim Kardashian West, tweeted out November 23 (Black Friday) as the new release date.

In her tweet sent Sunday Kardashian West revealed the new release date and told fans “TRUST ME it is worth the wait”

West confirmed the new date in an interview with TMZ, saying that he felt he needed more time on Yandhi and that he needed to travel to Africa to complete it. When describing the album West said that “It’s just a full Ye album, and those five albums that I dropped earlier were like superhero rehabilitation.”

West’s ninth studio album was supposed to drop on September 29, after his performance with Lil Pump on Saturday Night Live. West was scheduled to perform as the musical guest for the show’s 44th season premiere. Unfortunately for fans the album never appeared, leaving many fans wondering what happened.

Yandhi is the second album West released this year since he released his eighth studio album, Ye, on June 1st.

Besides the absence of a new album, the show was an eventful night for the rapper. West performed three songs on SNL, including his single “I love It” where he dressed up as a Perrier bottle with Lil Pump.  He also performed with Teyana Taylor for “We Got Love”.

However, the most talked about event of the night turned out to be West’s pro-Trump speech that he gave after the show. After the show went off the air West spoke to the audience wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap and spoke Trump, Democrats and racism.

“How could you support Trump? He’s racist,” said West, “Well if I was concerned about racism, I would have moved out of America a long time ago.”

This is not the first time that West has gotten backlash from fans for his support of President Trump. The president has also complimented the rapper numerous times.

Whatever West’s views on the president it seems that his most loyal fans are more concerned about Yandhi, and when they can get their hands on it. While they may have to wait, they can at least comfort themselves that they have a date to look forward after a day of turkey and stuffing.
