Skindred Cancels Upcoming Tour Dates Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

After recently announcing a U.S. tour, rockers Skindred have now canceled the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. The tour was set to kick off September 26th in Jacksonville, FL, hitting other North American cities including Baltimore, Flint, Minneapolis, and Tempe, AZ. Bands Sumo Cyco and Raven Black were to join Skindred for the three-week tour. The band issued a statement stating “Due to unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control. We have unfortunately had to cancel our run of upcoming US tour dates, which were due to start in Florida later this week. We sincerely apologise to you , who have bought tickets for any inconvenience caused and hope to reschedule some of these shows back in for 2019.” See their list of tour dates below.

According to The PRP,  one of the venues of the tour, The Chameleon Club, specifying the reason for the cancellation, stating that it was due to Skindred’s visas being delayed. See the venues full statement regarding the cancellation below.

The tour was in support of their latest record Big Tings, which included songs “Machine” and “That’s My Jam” which featured a cat/man hybrid getting “himself into a series of escalating adventures, getting into fights, buying milk, and eventually buying catnip off a drug dealer.”
