New Zealand singer-songwriter Kimbra has announced a small tour in intimate venues throughout the US, kicking off in Los Angeles on November 30 and making her way to San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Brooklyn before culminating in Boston on December 9. The Brooklyn show takes place December 8 at the Murmrr Theatre, which delivers an intimate experience at Brooklyn’s historic Grand Army Plaza. The tour follows the April release of her album, Primal Heart, her third studio album via Warner Bros. It features the singles “Everybody Knows,” “Top of the World,” “Human,” “Version of Me,” and “Like They Do on the TV.” Supporting Kimbra on tour is DAWN who has a new album slated to release in early 2019. DAWN has announced that the tour will feature her “reimagining her solo work with nothing but her Moog synthesizer.” Both women are guaranteed to put on a night of stunning music in a cozy, inclusive setting.

Kimbra Lee Johnson, better known as Kimbra, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who rose to mainstream notoriety through her feature on Gotye’s 2012 hit single “Somebody That I Used to Know.” The single led Kimbra and Gotye to receive a Grammy for both Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Kimbra also found much success with her debut album, Vows, which released in 2011 and reached the top 5 in New Zealand and Australia. She followed the album with her critically-acclaimed sophomore release, The Golden Echo, in 2014 and her latest album, Primal Heart. Kimbra has also received several awards for her solo work, including ARIA awards for Best Female Artist, New Zealand Music Awards for Album of the Year, Best Pop Album, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and several more. In addition to her musical success, Kimbra will also make her acting debut in 2019 as she stars in the film adaptation of the musical Daffodils.
