CKY and Nekrogroblikon Announce Co-Headline Fall 2018 Tour Dates

CKY and Nekrogoblikon will take to the road this Fall for a full tour. Nekrogoblikon was formed in 2006, by Tim Lyakhovetskiy and Nicky Calonne. The band has released albums, Goblin Island, Stench, Power, Heavy Meta and Welcome to Bonkers.

CKY music has been dubbed as hard rock and skate punk, due to its association with Bam Margera the brother of drummer Jess Margera. The band was formed in 1998 by lead vocalist and guitarist, Deron Miller. However, the band is currently made up of vocalist Chad Ginsburg, drummer Jess Margera and bassist Matt Deis. Their music has been featured in TV series, Jackass and they played all 2017 Warped Tour shows. Their fanbase is dubbed as the CKY Alliance.

CKY’s songs have featured references to a number of different lyrical themes. On Infiltrate-Destroy-Rebuild, it is proposed by Tranter that a number of tracks are written about “the decaying state of humanity” and “the need for some kind of freedom”, with the writer describing the lyrics as “relentlessly dark, yet beautifully written, observant and real.” On An Answer Can Be Found, there are multiple songs said to be renouncing the idea of suicide.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
