Desertfest Belgium is back for another year with 2018 Lineup headlined by bands Amenra and High on Fire. The rock festival will be taking place this October 12-14 at TRIX— Antwerp’s finest rock venue in Borgerhout. Tickets can be purchased online via http://www.desertfest.be/tickets.
The festival will feature bands such as High on Fire, Dead Meadow and Enslaved. High on Fire, an American heavy metal band, is expected to be there. Their newest album, Electric Messiah, is set to be released in October of this year.
American stoner rock band Dead Meadow will also be at Desertfest Belgium. They have released seven studio albums and two live albums. Their most recent album was released in March of 2018, titled The Nothing They Need.
Extreme metal Norwegian band Enslaved with Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson will also be in attendance at the festival.
In addition, the festival will also feature the American doom metal band YOB, who released their most recent album, Our Raw Heart, in June of this year. Fans can also expect to see Elder, the three-man heavy metal band whose most recent work has been Reflection of a Floating World (2017). The festival will include American pioneering band of sludge metal Crowbar as well.
Other bands that will be playing at Desertfest Belgium will be Orange Goblin, Acid King, My Sleeping Barma, Wo Fat, Dopethrone, Naxatras, Whores., Sasquatch, Lucifer, Wiegedood Black Moth, Skoll, Vic, The Devil and the Almighty Blues, Castle, Yuri Gagarin, The Oscillation, The Well, Admiral Sir Cloudesley Showell, Ancestors, Child, Eagle Twin, Earth Ship, Messa, Sofy Major, and Kraków.
