Kanye West, regardless of the mixed reception of his latest album ye has been up to quite a bit all over the entertainment circuit. Most recently, as Pitchfork has noticed, Yeezy is now the creative director for the Pornhub Awards, which is quite an interesting turn in his career. The first ever Pornhub Awards happened this past September 7th in Los Angeles, hosted by Asa Akira.
Since Kanye is the creative director, Kanye’s designs were all over the ceremony. West styled every outfit for the presenter of the night, designed all the statues for the winners, and he debuted a new song and music video that was directed by Spike Jonze. The new song is called “I Love It,” and features Kanye and Lil Pump in some very couch-looking giant outfits. The 2 minute video and song features Adele Givens and has Pump and Kanye strutting down a hallway. About halfway through the video Kanye lays down his verse before the song ends. The best part, hands down, is Adele Givens telling men, all men, the power of women in today’s age and that they don’t have to answer to anyone anymore. See the video below.
To start off the Pornhub Awards, Teyana Taylor slayed with her performance of her track “WTP” with Kanye singing with her for their track “Hurry.” To top off the night, Young M.A. performed as well and even won an award for her director’s debut in the adult film world.
