Foo Fighters Performed a Special Free Pop Up Show in Los Angeles Featuring Special Guest Roger Taylor of Queen Helping Cover “Under Pressure”

The Holy Shits, aka the Foo Fighters, surprised fans with a free pop up show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA on August 26th. The band performed under the moniker “The Holy Shits.” According to The PRP, the band performed songs that they have not performed in a while, including “Gimmie Stitches” and their first performances of “New Way Home” and “Weenie Beenie” in four years. Drummer/vocalist of the Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, and his cover band Chevy Metal opened the show. Other members of the Foo Fighters joined Chevy Metal including frontman Dave Grohl and Queen’s Roger Taylor, performing their classic “Under Pressure.”. A few fans were able to film some of their performances, which are below.

The special show served as a warm-up for their upcoming shows as a part of their previously announced summer tour. They are slated to head back on the road September 1st in Seattle, WA and will continue heading down to the west coast including San Diego’s KAABOO music festival in Del Mar along with Imagine Dragons, Robert Plant, and Katy Perry in September as well as the bands inaugural Cal Jam Fest in San Bernardino, CA in October. The Cal Jam Fest lineup also includes Iggy Pop, Greta Van Fleet, Tenacious D, Garbage, and Silversun Pickups to name a few. See the rest of the tour dates below.
