The star-studded group, known as Metal Allegiance, have shared the video for their third single from their latest album, reported The PRP. The video for “Bound By Silence,” features John Bush and honors the soldiers and civilians involved in the Vietnam War. It also illustrates the brutality and destruction the war inflicted. Old television sets display images that reflect the song’s lyrics. The ancient TV screens alternate between video footage of the band performing and footage capturing the war. Ending the video is an image of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington D.C. Watch the video below.
The PRP also reported Mark Menghi as saying this about the video:
“ ‘Bound By Silence’ tells the true tale of an amazing Vietnam War Vet, a brave soul who told me his incredible story with only a few months left to live due to Pancreatic Cancer. It’s a very personal song to me. I’ve since come to learn he recently passed on while leaving a great legacy behind. Forever ‘Bound By Silence’”
Renowned Vocalist, John Bush, started his career as lead singer for the California metal band, Armored Saint in the 80s. Bush later joined thrash metal band Anthrax and recently lent his powerful vocals to Metal Allegiance’s sophomore release.
